CARNIVAL WEEK
BEAUTIFYING SOCIETY & Y.M.C.A. “THE DEBUTANTES’ REVUE.” The box plan for the Debutanes’ Revue opened at' H. E. Pither’s this morning with very gratifying results to those responsible for the production. Evidently the convenors are assured of making a financial success of the venture. It is predicted that the revue will be an outstanding success and be even beyond the high standard aimed at originally. The public is assured that it will receive full entertainment value for its money as well as assisting two causes that are of great benefit to the community. The large number of people who have already bought tickets are advised to reserve their seats as soon as possible in order not to be disappointed in the seats finally allotted to them. The advisability of extending the season at the Opera House beyond the four nights is already being considered and the company has been invited to travel to Martinborough, Carterton, and Lower Hutt. The persons interested in Lower Hutt have requested either permission to form a company in their district and hire the music, routine and effects from the Debutantes’ Revue Co. or that preferably that the company visit the Lower Hutt and play there. The tickets for more expensive seats are nearly all sold but a limited number are still available from various sellers and Mr Pither has a sufficient number for this afternoon’s requirements.
