CHAMPION BOWLING FOURS CONTEST. (“Times-Age” Special.) In the champion fours contest, Kilgour, V. Vile, H. Rees, W. Higgison (s) defeated Burns, Connolly, McLeod, R. Vile (s) and Walden, Nightingale, Dennes, Carter (s) defeated Connolly (sub), Day, Bunny, Kenning (s). Swimming. Owing to a shortage of water at Featherston, the inter-school swimming sports between Featherston and Martinborough will be held at the Greytown Baths tomorrow. Flower Show. In spite of the dry weather, indications points to very successful exhibits at the Greytown Flower Show which will be held in the Crown Theatre on Friday next. Personal. Superintendnt J. Wood left on Saturday for Wanganui to attend the annual conference of the United Fire Brigades’ Association. Mr B. Workman has been appointed foreman of the Grey town Fire Brigade in place of the late Mr J. Workrpan.
