LORD NUFFIELD COMING TO MASTERTON. CIVIC RECEPTION ON WEDNESDAY A distinguished visitor to Masterton on Wednesday will be Lord Nuffield, the noted British industrialist and philanthropist. A civic luncheon will be tendered to Lord Nuffield in the Midland Hotel at 1 p.m. and he will be welcomed at a civic reception in the Opera House at 2.30 p.m., when an invitation is extended to the public to be present. Later in the afternoon, Lord Nuffield will present special prizes at the Masterton Horticultural Society’s Show.
