RAILWAY STATION

YARD TO BE TAR SEALED. A number of complaints have been made of late regarding the rough state of the entrance to the Masterton Railway Station yard. When the matter was referred to the Borough Engineer, Mr C. R. Mabson, he said an arrangement was made some time ago with the Railways Department for the borough staff to seal the yard.- With other street sealing work in hand, however, it had not been yet possible to do the job, but as soon as the street work was finished, in about two weeks’ time, it would be started.
