PRICES AT WELLINGTON SALE. (By Telegraph— tress Association.) WELLINGTON, This Day. There was a large offering at the fortnightly sale of sheepskins, hides and tallow held yesterday by the combined Wellington brokers. Keen competition was met for all descriptions of sheepskins, woolly skins showing an advance of Jd a lb on last sale. Short wools and pelts also sold well at prices par to ?,d better. Buying of hides was fairly well spread and values generally showed little change on last sale’s quotations. Light ox were a shade easier, heavy and medium unchanged. Cow hides were in demand and improved by ?,d to 3-8 d Yearling and heavy calf were, firm, while light calf were about Id a lb up. Tallow sold at late rates.
