Field-Marshal Goering, in a speech on Air Force Day, said that the Air Force was already the terror of Germany's enemies and would always remain so. Without an Air Force the Fuehrer would have been -unable to bring Austria and Sudetenland to the Reich and create the Greater Germany. He urged the nation to work to improve the Air Force, maintaining its advantage over other nations by an enthusiastic youth eagerly responding to the appeal for pilots and crews.
