PERSONAL ITEMS
Mr and Mrs C. Jarvis, Masterton, are visiting Napier. Mr and Mrs L. Astridge, Oxford Street, are on holiday in Levin. Mrs Bathe, who has been visiting Auckland, has returned to Masterton. Mrs C. Boustead, Alfredton Road, has left on a holiday visit to Auckland. Mr and Mrs R. Collins, of Auckland, are St present the guests of Mrs L. Cross, Church Street. Miss Celia Drummond left Masterton yesterday for Auckland en route to England. She is leaving Auckland by the Wanganella. Miss V. Gooder, of Wellington, who has been spending a short holiday with Mrs Norman Gooder, Cornwall Street, prior to leaving for England, has returned home. Miss G. Sutherland, of Bannister Street, has returned from an extensive tour of the South Island, Which included visits to Maruia and Hamner Springs. Mr J. Collins, of Auckland, who was New Zealand Trade Commissioner in Canada for nine years, recently visited his daughter, Mrs Cross, Church Street. He was accompanied by another daughter, Mrs Edgar Hornblow.
