WOMAN KILLED'

CAR STRIKES BRIDGE NEAR WAIMATE. THREE OTHER OCCUPANTS INJURED. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) WAIMATE, March 1. A young woman was killed and three others injured when a car struck a bridge in Hook at 1 a.m. today and fell into a creek bed. The victims were:— Killed: Marjorie Martin, aged 28, of Otaio. Injured: Percival Martin, driver of the car; Trevor Lander, of ,Te Awamutu; Ronald Galbraith, of Timaru. The condition of the injured is not serious. The party was returning from a dance in Willowbridge.
