GREYTOWN
IMPROVEMENTS TO GOLF LINKS. \ NEW LAY-OUT ADOPTED. ("Times-Age” Special.) The general committee of the Greytown Golf Club met on the links last evening and after going over the proposed new lay-out it was decided to adopt the proposed scheme. The new course will be a 9-hole one, with a length of 5200 yards. Personal. Mr B. Kiernan has been appointed secretary to the Moroa Water Race Committee, vice Mr Mark Maxton, who has resigned. Constable S. Best and Mrs Best, of Wanganui, are spending their annual holidays at Greytown. Mr N. McLeod has returned from a holiday spent in the Auckland district.
