KAHUTARA SCHOOL SPORTS PICNIC AT TAUHERENIKAU. (“Times-Age” Special.) A large gathering of parents and children attended the Kahutara School picnic at the Tauheremkau Racecourse en Friday. Bowling. F. W. Smith’s rink was defeated by W. Higgison’s rink for the championship of the club. W. Higgison has now to play off with H. R. Bloxam. The Wairarapa and Wellington centres are to play the annual fixture on the Featherston green about March 12. Personal. Mr and Mrs Arthur Cook have returned from a holiday spent -at Titahi Bay.
