RIFLEMEN AT PAPAWAI WAIRARAPA ASSOCIATION’S MEETING. BIG MUSTER OF COMPETITORS. (“Times-Age” Special.) ’ Over 100 riflemen had a full-dress rehearsal for the National Rifle meeting when they competed today at the Wairarapa Rifle Association’s championship meeting at Papawai. Firstrate conditions prevailed, the light being good and only a very slight westerly breeze blowing. Mr C. J. Nix president of the association, welcomed the competitors and trusted that they would have an enjoyable and successful day’s shooting.
