COMBINED PRIMARY SCHOOL MEETING GATHERING IN DIXON STREET BATHS. GOOD STANDARD SET. Favoured with a perfect day a large gathering of pupils and parents assembled at the Dixon Street baths yesterday afternoon to witness the combined primary schools swimming spotts. The standard of swimming was well up to that of previous meetings and under the efficient starting of Mr J. A. Kennedy the events were run off well up to time. The following were responsible for. the highly successful gathering: —Supervisor, Mr E. G. Coddington; starter, Mr J. A. Kennedy; judges, Miss Drummond and Messrs Jones and Clift; recorders, Miss Cocker and Mr Tamblyn; secretary and announcer, Mr R. Boys; marshals, Mrs Fouhy, Miss Taylor and Mr H. Smith.
