FRIENDLY SOCIETIES

IN DIFFICULT POSITION. NEW MEMBERSHIP FALLING AWAY. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) DUNEDIN, February 28. Macfie, Dunedin secretary of the Ancient Order ol Foresters, who said it was almost impossible to enlist new members. The future of the friendly societies was.not hopeful.
