WAIRARAPA COLLEGE SPORTS SEVERAL RECORDS BROKEN OR EQUALLED. T MAJOR AGAIN WINS SENIOR CHAMPIONSHIP. Perfect weather prevailed for the Wairarapa College swimming sports held in the College baths yesterday afternoon before a large gathering of parents and old pupils. Under the capable control of Mr H. P. Glen, and Mi - J. E. Tier as starter, the events were all run off lyMr G. W. Morice expressed appreciation of the way in which the sports were carried out, and congratulated the performers on their good exhibition .Mr Morice apologised on behalf of Mrs Hancox for her unavoidable absence, also for the Principal, Mr G. G. Hancox, who was at present attending a military camp. Mr Morice called upon Mrs W. R. Nicol, wife- of the chairman of the Board of Governors, to present the trophies.
