AIR RAID SHELTERS

FIRST DELIVERIES MADE IN BRITAIN MORE TO FOLLOW SPEEDILY. ACCELERATION OF OUTPUT. (British Official Wireless.) (Received This Day, 10.30 a.m.) RUGBY, February 24. The first fifteen thousand steel air raid shelters will be delivered at homes in six London boroughs and seven English and Scottish centres before the end of the week. By the end of next week a further 24,000 shelters will be delivered in more than twenty cities and towns throughout the country. In the following week 36,000 more will be delivered, and thereafter delivery to householders will continue at an accelerating rate.
