LATEST LONDON QUOTATIONS LAMB PRICES EASIER. CHILLED BEEF VALUES LOWER. Lamb market: Prices again shade easier but demand is improving at the lower prices. Mutton market: Wethers and ewes, lightweight prices unchanged, others lower. Trade remains slow. Beef market: Chilled beef prices lower this week on the slow trade because of heavier supplies. New Zealand porker pigs: Quiet. with prices unchanged. New Zealand baconer pigs: Market quiet and. unchanged. The above report was received by the Meat Board from its London office, which advises that the following are the ruling prices of wholesale quantities of the descriptions of frozen meat mentioned, and are for representative parcels of the goods sold on Thursday. Chilled beef prices are averages of the week. All prices are on the basis of delivered to Smithfield Market.
