The first visit will be made on Tuesday next, by way of Kaiwhata, Glenburn,Craigie Lea and other places, and on some future date other roads will be inspected. This will be the means of all councillors gaining an insight into the work being carried out, and what is necessary to be done. Th Highways Board wrote pointing out that concessions were available to the County for safety measures on .roads abutting on main highways and other subsidiary roads.
