Power, Palea, is visiting' her sister, Mrs D. F. Thurston, Cole Street, Masterton. Mrs J. AV. Newton, of Taihape, daughter of Mr Mark Maxton, Greytown, is making a short visit to Greytown. Mrs W. Burling, of Roberts Road, Lansdowne, who underwent an operation this week at Glenwood Private Hospital, is reported to be making satisfactory progress.
