TINUI

YOUNG FARMERS’ CLUB MEETING. ADDRESS BY MR GRAY L (“Times-Age” Special.) A meeting of the Tinui Young Farmers’ Club was held recently, Mr J. Groves presiding. A talk was given by Mr W. Gray, of the Department of Agriculture, on facial eczema in sheep. Mr Gray dealt first with the apparent causes of the disease, and the methods by which it might be prevented and in the milder cases, cured. He gave a lucid account of the theoretical side of the question. Before being given a vote of thanks, Mr Gray answered questions regarding the disease, and also concerning the drenching of lambs and distemper in dogs. Mr Armstrong made some helpful remarks in regard to .types of drenches and methods of drenching.
