Mrs G. B. A. Cowie, Masterton, is on a visit to Wellington. Lir and Mrs G. C. Bouzais, of Greytown, are spending a holiday at Castlepoint. Mrs M. V. Hawkins and Mrs McKitterick, of Auckland, are at present on a holiday visit to Greytown. Miss C. Lyford, Featherston, is vis-. iting Eastbourne, Wellington, where she is the guest of Mrs G. Cogdale. Mrs Howard Jackson, accompanied by her daughter Valerie, and Miss B. Roydhouse, of Carterton, have left on a visit to Taupo. Dr. and Mrs R. N. Campbell, and family, of Carterton, who have been spending a holiday at Raumati, have returned home. Mr and Mrs Tuohy, of Hunterville, are staying with Mrs Tuohy’s parents, Mr and Mrs N. P. Williams, Garrison Street, Carterton. Mr and Mrs C. Whyte and family, who have been on holiday in Carterton during the past month return today to Raetahi, where Mr Whyte is stationed as Postmaster. Among those present at the Wairarapa and Ruahine Aero Club’s cabaret on Saturday, for which Miss Jocelyn Betts, assisted by Misses Jose Hosking and Nora Beetham, were responsible for the excellent arrangements, were Mr and Mrs Gerald Biss (Martinborough), Mr and Mrs Jack Broad, Mr and Mrs Geoffrey Blundell, Mr and Mrs Jack Reid, Mr and Mrs . Walton White Mr and Mrs Sheridan (Martiribordugh), Misses Peggy Perry, Peggy Sellar, Joan Beetham, Lorna Blundell, Williams, Phyllis Shearer, Susanne Collins (Featherston), Kirsty Cameron (Hihakura), Estelle Hamilton, Ngaire Aplin (Wellington), Pam Barton and Messrs Hosking, W. Van Praagh, Alex Saunders, W. Sellar, Athol Lawson (Wellington), Lynne, Alan Wardell and Gibbs (Wellington).
