ARRANGEMENTS FOR COMING SPORTS MEETING. SEVERAL TROPHIES DONATED. (“Tjmes-Age” Special.) Mr D. Bennett presided on Monday night over a large'and most enthusiastic meeting of the Mauriceville Sports Club. The committee made ’final arrangements for the forthcoming sports meeting on March 4. Cups from Mr and Mrs W. H. Bird, for most points in the children’s horse events (under 15 years), from Mr J. Harris, for the maiden pony jump and from Mr E. Tildesley Senr., for the maiden jump were accepted with thanks. It was also decided to add a pillow fight to the programme and to engage Te Tati's melody makers to play at the dance in the evening. Personal. Miss May Kenny, of the Mauriceville Dairy Co’s, stall, is spending her. annual holidays in Hastings.
