A. P. WHATMAN ESTATE

HOSPITAL BOARD BEQUEST. NO INCOME BEFORE 1945. The District Public Trustee advised the Wairarapa Hospital Board, at its mooting today, that the balance of the estate of the late Mr A. P. Whatman 'was approximately £12,059 after deducting the value of realty. 'There was no prospect of any income being available for the purposes of tileboard before 1945. When that income was available it would amount to approximately £4OO or £5OO a year. A transfer of the property was being prepared and the board was asked to confirm the taking over of it. It was decided that before accepting the transfer, the matter be referred lo the Health Department to advise regarding the acceptance of the bequest.
