FRENCH REINFORCEMENT OF SOMALILAND. “MAKING SITUATION WORSE.” (Independent Cable Service.) (Received This Day, 10.45 a.m.) ROME, February 20. Reinforcement of the French garrison in Somaliland is regarded in official circles as “making worse an already dangerous situation.” It is strongly indicated that Italy will take “adequate precautionary military measures." General Badogolio has gone to Tripoli for a special survey of Italy's defences in North Africa.
