AUSTRALIAN TEAM TO VISIT AUCKLAND. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright SYDNEY. February 20. The Rugby League tonight gave permission to R. Stehr to take a strong combined team to Auckland, leaving by the Mariposa on March 31 to play three matches in Auckland and return by the Monterey on April 17, which is five days before the Sydney competitions begin. Former Kangaroos with the team include: Stehr, S. Pearce, H. Pierce, Griffith, Thompson. WIGAN CLUB. INVITATION TO ‘ VISIT AUSTRALIA. (Received This Day, 10.55 a.m.) SYDNEY .This Day. The New South Wales Rugby League has decided to recommend to the Australian Board of Control that the Wigan (England) club be invited to visit Australia this year.
