ACCURATE ESTIMATES
CATTLE AND SHEEP WEIGHT ■ JUDGING. MASTERTON SHOW RESULTS. Aiccurate estimates were a feature of the weight-judging competitions conducted by members of the Masterton Savage Club for the Masterton A. and P. Association at the recent Masterton Show. The results are as follow: — Bullock (correct weight 1021Jlbs): Mrs F. R. Evans, Masterton, 4021?,1b5, 1; Mrs D. S, McKenzie, Te Rangi, 1021 J,lbs 2; Mrs B. T. McGovern, Manaia, Pearl Hill-Motion, Solway College, and H. Skeet, Ngaumu, 10211bs, equal 3. Cow (correct weight 61libs): T. Langdon. Tinui, and A. E. Reader, Mt Bruce, 61 libs, equal 1. Three sheep (correct weight 183ijlbs, lamb 37jlbs, hogget 52 ; Jlbs, wether 941bs): Mrs Ina Ray, Clareville, 1841bs, and Mrs E. H. Schofield, Tinui, 183Jlbs. equal 1. The aggregate total weight of the bullock, cow and the sheep was 1816’lbs and the first prize winner was Mrs T. Jordan. Masterton. with 1815? lbs. The competitions resulted in the sum of £46 being raised.
