Under the will of the late William Reed, a prominent resident, the sum of £1.500 has been bequeathed to the council of Massey College to provide an annual scholarship for competition by pupils of the Palmerston North Boys’ High School. During his lifetime. Mr Reed made a gift of £2.000 to thi‘ All Saints’ Children's Home.
