ENTERPRISE IN BRITAIN. COUNTRY HOLIDAYS PROJECT. (British Official Wireless.' RUGBY, February 14. Reference to the Government’s scheme for establishing 50 holiday camps to be used to provide more than 150,000 schoolchildren with a fortnight in the country during the best months of the year and to be available in a national emergency for the evacuation of children from danger was made by Earl De La Warr, President of the Board of Education, in a speech in Plymouth today. He said that such an addition to the educational machine was a challenge to educationalists to ensure that the best use was made of it, both for improving the health of the children and for widening their interests.
