ITALIAN CRUISERS

ORDERED TO RETURN FOLLOWING ON RECEPTION IN LATIN AMERICA. FULL NAVAL STRENGTH WANTED IN HOME WATERS. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright ROME, February 15. It is announced that the cruisers Eugenio Di Savoia and Duca d’ Aosta have been ordered to return home directly from Caracas because they have completed the main part of the goodwill mission to the South American Republics. It is believed, however, that the real reason for the recall is the hostile reception given to the Italians in Rica and Panama, plus the fact that Italy wants to have full naval strength in home waters during the present international situation.
