IRON FOR JAPAN

EXPORTS FROM AUSTRALIA TO CONTINUE DECISION OF FEDERAL CABINET. PORT KEMBLA REQUEST TURNED DOWN. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright. MELBOURNE. February 15. This decision was based partly on information that the export of pig iron will not prejudice Australian industries, and partly on the ground that to impose an embargo because Japan is at war might be considered a provocative act.
