GREYTOWN

FIRE BRIGADE MEETING. (“Times-Age” Special.) The monthly meeting of the Greytown Fire Brigade was held on Monday night. Superintendent J. Wood presided over a goo<r attendance. The roll was checked for the three calls received since the last meeting. The resignation of Fireman W. Dunn was accepted with regret. The secretary reported the receipt of the borough grant of £3O. A vote of £5 was made to the delegate attending the annual conference at Wanganui. The secretary was instructed to confer with the Mayor with a view to improving the water pressure.
