LETTERS OF 1915

FROM SIR HENRY MCMAHON & SHERIFF HUSSEIN PUBLISHED AT REQUEST OF ARABS. LAID BEFORE CONFERENCE DELEGATES. (British Official Wireless.) (Received This Day, 10.18 a.m.) RUGBY. February 14. A white paper containing what is known as the McMahon-Hussein correspondence —an exchange of letter® between Sir Henry McMahon and Sheriff Hussein of Mecca in 1915—is as good as prepared and will be issued soon as possible. Meanwhile, for the convenience of business, copies of the letters are being placed at the disposal of delegates to the Palestine Conference Announcing this in the House of Commons. Mr Neville Chamberlain explained that a request for publication had been made by the Arab delegations and it had been thought desirable to accede to the request.
