Forty prominent members of the German minority in Poland have been arrested on charges of high treason, forming a military organisation, secret drilling, and anti-Polish propaganda, aimed at the return of the western provinces to Germany. Those arrested include leaders of German organisations and sports clubs. The Foreign Minister (Colonel Beck) rejected the German Ambassador’s protest.
