MASTERTON BOWLING CLUB

MEETING OF COMMITTEE. The monthly committee meeting of the Masterton Bowling Club was held last evening at their pavilion. It was decided that the games next Saturday should not commence until 2 p.m. th enable the Club to participate in the “Keep Fit Week” procession. The committee invites members to attend in full club uniform, parading at Wagg’s Service Station, at 1.15 p.m. sharp. ..During the "Keep Fit Week” local residents interested are cordially invited to try their hand at bowls on the Club's greens. The committee expressed thanks to Mr Campbell for the donation of a measure. It was decided to hold a tournament on Easter Monday. The Upper Hutt Bowling Club will visit Masterton at the next weekend bringing five rinks. Mr Rolph was elected a member.
