FATALITY AT FORD
STOCK INSPECTOR DROWNED IN CANTERBURY. (By Telegraph—Press Association / CHRISTCHURCH, This Day. While fording on horseback the Hope River on Saturday. Mr William Muir, Government Stock Inspector, was drowned. His horse fell and Mr Muir was swept away. The body has not yet been recovered.
