Lyons) hi a review of defence policy, announced that Australia’s firstline air strength would be increased to 212 planes and that nine hundred more men would be added to the Air personnel in the next three years. At present the first line strength was 132 machines. The full strength of the force would not be revealed, but progress in building it up was ahead of schedule. -
