BOOKMAKING CHARGE
ACCUSED FINED £25. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, This Day. A fine of £25 was imposed by Mr J. L. Stout, S.M., in the Magistrate’s Court, Wellington, yesterday, when Robert Arthur Watts, dealer, pleaded guilty to carrying on the business of a bookmaker in Wellington on February 9. Accused was allowed two months in which to pay the fine.
