PHYSICAL EDUCATION
PROPOSED REGISTER. An appeal is being made to all people interested professionally in physical welfare and recreation leadership and who are fully or partly qualified to instruct, to enrol on a government register. At the last meeting of the National Council of Physical Welfare and Recreation it was recommended, as a preliminary to training further leaders, that steps be taken to ascertain who were qualified or partly qualified in this country to teach physical education. For those interested, forms have been printed, and can be obtained on application to the Under-Secre-tary, Department of Internal Affairs. Wellington. The forms contain the usual questions that produce, in reply, definite details of the experience gained and academic qualifications attained by the applicant. It is hoped that all those interested in this move will realise its advantage, and do their part to make this roll a complete and reliable document.
