Miss Celia Drummond, Lansdowne, is visiting Wellington. Mrs L. A. Humphrey, o£ Levin, is the guest of Mrs O. Stone, Eketahuna.

Miss Barbara Barton, Masterton, is visiting Gisborne, and is the guest of Miss Lois Miles.

Miss Mcyna Barrer, Renall Street, Masterton, left yesterday for Wellington and Picton.

Mrs Forrest, of Essex Street,- Masterton, has returned home after having been on an extended holiday. Miss C. Hosking, of Masterton, has returned from a three weeks’ holiday in Wellington.

Miss N. Moriarty, of Mangaramarama, is spending a holiday in Wellington.

Mrs K. Gaynor and Miss A. Stempa, of Upper Plain, have returned from a holiday spent at Foxton Beach. Miss Boddington, of Masterton, who had been in Wellington for the past ’three weeks, has returned home. Mrs G. Norris, of Pownall Street, Masterton, and her daughter, Mrs Wolff, of Herbert Street, are spending a holiday at Paraparaurnu. Miss R.- M. Stewart, 8.A., who was relieving at. Wellington East Girls’ College during the past year, has taken up an appointment at Wairarapa College, Masterton. At the Trinity College theory examinations held in Masterton • last December, Misses Kathleen Leigh and Dorothy Chisholm were, both successful in the art. of teaching and rudiments for the A.T.C.L. They are both pupils of Miss Keedwell.
