ORMONDVILLE FIRE

A fire in Ormondville early this morning destroyed the Settler’s Arms Hotel, which was also burned seven years ago. The present licensee, Mr C. Badeley, a former All Black, had not long taken over. An adjoining store, owned and occupied by Mr W. R. Oates, was also destroyed. The fire started in the store and spread to the hotel. The insurance on the store is £llOO, but the insurance on the hotel is not available.
