POST OFFICE RENOVATIONS

WORKMEN ENGAGED ON TOWER.

Workmen engaged on a swinging stage suspended from the Masterton Post Office tower. 50 feet above the pavement, attracted the attention of a considerable number of Masterton residents this morning. The men are busy with renovation work on the Post Office buildingg. a task that entails the treatment of the Orick work and the painting of plaster facings, besides a certain amount of interior renovation.

The work is being carried out by Departmental workmen and a big improvement will be effected, judging from which has been- accomplished so far.
