PAHIATUA EWE FAIR

IMHKOVhIVItNT IN FRIGES.

F.C.D. COMPANY’S REPORT. The New Zealand Farmers’ Co-oper-ative Distributing Co. Ltd. report a satisfactory sale at the Pahiatua annual ewe fair, when a marked improvement in prices was shown on outside ewe fairs. The sale was a little erratic in parts, but generally vendors were very satisfied with prices obtained. The ewes came forward in good condition and were keenly sought after by buyers who were present from the Manawatu, Rangitikei, Hawke's Bay, Taranaki and, Waikato districts, and quite a number of lines remained in Pahiatua.
