W. A. C. Pullar, New Zealand Empire Games representative, will attempt to lower the New Zealand one mile record at present held by Randolph Rose. Pullar is at present in great form and the times recorded in recent runs indicate that he has every chance under favourable conditions ol bettering the existing record of 4minutes 13 3-5 seconds. The Masterton public should not miss (he opportunity of seeing Pullar in action.
