LADIES’ AUXILIARY MEETING.

ARRANGEMENTS FOR CARNIVAL.

A large attendance of ladies of the Y.M.C.A. Ladies’ Auxiliary was presided over by Mrs G. R. Beecrofl (president) at the meeting yesterday. The president reported that the executive had met members of the ladies’ committee of the Beautifying Society and had discussed with them the forthcoming carnival. Details of the stalls were outlined and positions allocated to the various members. It was advised that, a combined meeting of both ladies’ committees was to be held on Friday. February 10, at 2.30 p.m.

The General Secretary (Mr A. E. Bate) presented a report of the Boys' Camp and expressed thanks Io all the members of the Auxiliary who had supplied cakes. Tito camp had been a very happy one, lie said. Other general business was discussed and in view of the carnival it was decided to hold the monthly meeting on Tuesday, February 28. At the conclusion ■of the business session. Mesdames Beecrofl, Cottle and Nelson entertained the Auxiliary to afternoon tea.
