ARRESTED IN AUCKLAND
MAN WANTED BY POLICE. FAILURE TO APPEAR IN COURT. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) WELLINGTON. This Day. According to advice received today by the Wellington police. Wilfred Jesse Heaven, hairdresser, aged 36. who failed to answer to his bail in the Supreme Court recently, was arrested in Auckland last night. Heaven, who was to have appeared at the criminal sessions on four charges of committing offences against males, had been released on bail conditionally on his reporting daily to the police. Nothing had been heard of him since. A towel and clothing identified as his property were found on a Wellington beach some weeks ago. and a belief was expressed that he was dead.
