Mr J. K. Messenger, who is at present touring the Dominion on a bicycle powered by a one-horse power motor, has spent the last 25 years visiting many parts of the world on his machine. He has visited Canada many times, and last year he went from coast to coast, a distance of 3800 miles. The total cost of the petrol required for the trip was only about ,£2 15s.
