MASTERTON SALE

RULING RATES MAINTAINED. There was a very large attendance of buyers at today’s Masterton stock sale, a contingent coming from the Waikato and West Coast districts. Competition was keen and prices were on a par with ruling market rates. Some of the early realisations were: Fat wethers, 17s 3d, 17s 6d, 18s up to 19s; fat lambs 17s, 21s 2d to 225; fat ewes, 10s to Ils sd; 5-yr old ewes 14s 6d, 16s to 19s lOd.
