BRILLIANT BEGONIAS

COLOURFUL DISPLAY IN PARK.

HOUSE OPENED TO PUBLIC.

One of the show places of Masterton Park at the present time is the begonia house, which is now open to the public daily from 10 a.m. to noon and from 1 to 4 p.m.

A peep inside the door reveals a profusion of colourful blooms, single, double and frilled, in a great variety of tones. Hanging from the roof are many plants of the basket begonia, which enjoy a particularly lengthy flowering period. Maidenhair fern which was potted last August has put on remarkable growth and graceful feathery fronds of this fern add daintiness to the general display. All lovers of beautiful flowers should make a point of visiting the. begonia house, which may be entered from either end, according to the weather conditions.
