PROJECT ABANDONED
ERECTION OF MEMORIAL GATES. MASTERTON A. AND P. DECISION. The Masterton A. and P. Association advised the Masterton County Council at its meeting yesterday that it did not propose to proceed with the proposal to erect centennial memorial gates at the main entrance to the Showgrounds. It had been decided to leave the main entrance in York Street, and the council was thanked for its offer to cooperate.
