BABIES RESCUED FROM FIRE. OUTBREAK IN FOUNDLING HOME. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright. MELBOURNE, February 5. Fire occurred last evening at St Joseph’s foundling home situated in Broadmeadows suburb. Nuns, at great risk through smokerescued 35 babies, some only a few days old, and carried them to safety.
