EXPLANATION BY MINISTER OF HEALTH ONLY MEDICAL SERVICES DELAYED. PLANS TO BE ANNOUNCED ON TUESDAY. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright. WELLINGTON, This Day. The Minister of Health (the Hon. P. Fraser) said today that his remarks regarding the non-commencement of medical services on April 1 did not apply to monetary payments under the Social Security Act. He would announce plans for hospital and maternity benefits at the Hospital Boards’ Conference on Tuesday.
